Me. Clarice. Domestic diva. Stay-at-home wife & mom. Photographer-wannabe. Green living advocate. Chocolate addict. Dreamer. Frustrated writer. Joya's milk source. Jia's playmate. This is my life.
It's not only children who grow. Parents do too. As much as we watch to see what our children do with their lives, they are watching us to see what we do with ours. I can't tell my children to reach for the sun. All I can do is reach for it, myself. ~Joyce Maynard
Anyhow, I wanted to give you suggestions about Singapore since I lived there for a year and a half but don’t know what you like. Are you looking to go to every tourist destination or, like me or us, set up our vacations around food? In any case, let me know since I never cooked while I was there (no choice – wala akong kitchen sa apartment ko) so I am a huge suki sa mga hawker stalls. At wala akong paki kahit matagal ako pumila, basta masarap, I’d endure the wait.
So if you’re like me and want a gastronomic adventure, I’d be happy to share very specific places.
By the way, you have a toddler, right? I have one who’s 9 months old at ngayon pa lang, I’m planning to take her to the places we love and ate at in SG. So I might have some ideas.
Hi Malou! Naku sayang! I left last Friday, the day you posted the comment. I would have loved to hear an insider’s take on the street/hawker’s food. Sige, may next time pa naman.
Will post our SG kwento soon (fingers crossed). Hindi ko sinama si Jia kasi GSS yung hinabol namin talaga eh so alam namin sa super pagod. Last April we went to HK and although Disneyland yung main goal namin that time, super kami pagod, lalo na siguro pag shopping!
