Romulo’s Cafe

I first tried Romulo’s Cafe with Benz about a month ago when we went out for lunch to catch up. A week after, she had her birthday party there. Food was really good so last week I brought Jojie so he can also try it.

I was a disappointed with our visit though. The waiter was less than accommodating.  We ordered baby squids in garlic, kare-kare, sinigang, crispy suman (for dessert), and cool as cucumber (drink).

“Cool as cucumber” was great as usual (this is my fave dink at the moment). The kare-kare was good (as always). The crispy suman was yummy. The sinigang was sooo not. But what really irked me was the waiter did not inform us that they already ran out of the squids. We only knew, when halfway through the meal, I followed it up.  Kainis!

Oh well, hopefully next visit would be better.

But what’s really important is that Jia had a good time posing and smiling!
