Still as busy as a bee

We are still working on our project, thus the busy days and the lack of posts. (And yeah, I realized that my pattern for the past weeks has been to marathon post whenever time permitted and then to rest for a few days.) By next week, I can blog about it. For now, I love [...]

Harry Potter Party: Suppliers Review

*Disclaimer: Since I’m an events coordinator, I think I have higher standards when it comes to suppliers so I have the tendency to rate a supplier low when most would rate them well. But still, I did try to temper my rants in this review. Christening Venue: Santuario de San Jose Also considered: All the [...]

New project

We have a new “project”, J and I. I am super praying that we get it. I am super excited that I have started scanning my home magazines again. But at the same time, I am afraid to be disappointed so I am trying to temper my excitement. Pero sabi nila you should claim what [...]

Mommyhood grumblings

Last night, Jia didn’t want to sleep yet. I actually asked her yaya to play with her so she would get tired and fall asleep but to no avail. Haaaay! That’s what happens when she has afternoon naps. Around 1030pm, she wanted to go down to play with me and to be read stories (again!). [...]

Harry Potter Party: Backstory and party planning

After Jia was baptized (yes, ganyan na katagal ko pina-plano magka-Harry Potter party), J and I were toying with the idea of throwing Jia a party for her 1st birthday. We both knew that we would not do it. As a rule, I told myself I would only throw “big” parties for christening as I [...]

Luminosity… can’t wait!

If there are three art pieces that I would like to acquire (yung alam kong afford ko naman kahit papano at hindi tulad ng gusto ni Jia na Monet paintings), it would be a Joya, an Acuna, and an Orlina. I love Orlina’s work so much. In fact, I’ve been so enamored with his works [...]

Parang kasal lang yan eh…

It’s a week before the party and I stay up late every night for the preps. Since Jia and Joya take up most of my time during the day, it is only when they are both asleep that I can fully prep for the party. We went to Divi last Saturday to buy prizes and [...]

Today

We had a really busy day today. Jia, Joya, Ate May, and I left the house before 11am and we got home (with J) at past 11pm. Whew! But it was such a wonderful day that the pagod was worth it. The only scheduled lakad actually was a visit to Joya’s pedia for his vaccine. [...]
